Sisk have recently been ranked 31st out of the Top 50 medium sized undergraduate schemes
John Sisk & Son have recently been ranked 31st out of the Top 50 medium sized undergraduate schemes at the NUE (National Undergraduate Employability) Awards, UK. The event celebrates excellence in the undergraduate employability scene.
Sisk have moved up four places from last year. These scores are a result of our Placement Programme, and our interns submitting their reviews of their experience on Rate My Placement.
This Award recognises companies who have more than 250 employees and employs between 3 and 19 students on an undergraduate placement, internship, vacation scheme or insight.
The employer must have a minimum of three student-written reviews on RateMyPlacement.co.uk. These reviews alongside other vital statistics are placed into an algorithm and curates the Top 50 Medium-sized Undergraduate Employers table.
It was an insightful event, with a panel of current students undertaking work experience and internships, and guest speeches, most notably from Col. Dame Kelly Holmes DBE who gave an inspirational talk on her career, mind-set, overcoming depression and moving forward after her career in athletics and winning two gold medals at the 2004 Olympics Games in Athens.
This is a great achievement for Sisk, giving us the extra motivation to ensure that we strive to continually improve our offering and deliver to the highest standards in the UK placement market.
