Monday 8th March 2021: John Sisk & Son hosted a number of events throughout Engineers Week, albeit virtually, the presentations were a great success. Sisk team members came together on screens to present at the following secondary schools:
- Portumna Secondary School, Galway
- St Aidan’s Secondary School, Glasnevin, Dublin
- Our Lady’s Secondary School, Terenure, Dublin
- Malahide Community School, Dublin
- Gaelscoil Nás na Ríogh, Co. Kildare
Sisk staff were also encouraged by Ross Cullen, Group Chief Engineer, Sisk to get their kids creative at home. This resulted in some very creative thinking with kids using Lego, matchsticks, straws and anything they could find at home.
Ross Cullen, Group Chief Engineer said: “Engineers Week is a key fixture in the construction calendar. These events are key to shaping and influencing our future industry talent pipeline. A big thank you to all Sisk teams who participated in virtual events throughout Engineers Week and to those young budding engineers at home who also got involved with some very creativity on display.”
