Since our relationship with Johnson & Johnson began in 1994, Sisk has been a Construction Management Services delivery partner where we have worked in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnical, Medical device and Consumer sectors to the World’s largest Healthcare company.
We have been involved in a number of campuses from their establishment, including Visioncare in Limerick, Janssen Biologics and DePuy Synthes Medical Devices, both in Cork. In addition we have worked on other existing facilities delivering a variety of projects in Ireland and expanding to the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Israel.
Our Services to Johnson & Johnson include budgeting, pre-construction expertise, equipment procurement, construction management, commissioning and qualification. Projects range from small up to the flagship €300m Janssen Biologics 2 Project, where construction was completed in 2019 and Sisk are currently managing the Commissioning and Qualification of the facility.
Sustaining our partnership with Johnson & Johnson is dependent on Sisk meeting our client’s expectations and fulfilling our commitments. Safety is always first and we are all very proud that both the Janssen Campus in Cork and the Visioncare Campus in Limerick each have well in excess of three million man-hours without a lost time accident, whilst the DePuy Synthes Campus has over 1.5 million man-hours without a lost time accident.
Achieving right-first-time Quality and meeting programme commitments are key in all projects. This applies in particular to the Life Sciences sector where Johnson & Johnson look to Sisk to deliver the highest standards to ensure global supply commitments can be achieved to life changing products and treatments. All of the above must be reinforced with best value delivery and an innovative approach, areas where Sisk’s performance is also constantly assessed.
